Churchfields School, London Borough of Redbridge

This was a recent project where the GF Partnership provided an outsourcing service to an established quantity surveying practice to produce SMM7 bills of quantities. The £8.5M project comprised the re-development of parts of the existing primary school, comprising a new teaching block, administration block together with certain elements of re-modelling the external works.

The complication of the project was the amount of phasing required to keep the school operational, and the bills needed to reflect the progressive decanting required of redundant blocks and the construction of the new facilities.
