Contractor: Kier Construction

Construction began on the College's new £86m Medway Campus in August 2007, the largest single-phase education construction project currently being undertaken in the UK. The new campus will open its doors to both new and returning students in September 2009.

The GF Partnership undertook BoQ production for the entire project for Kier Construction. This was a complex project, as the site was formerly occupied by a division of the Royal Engineers, included an underground command complex and was bounded by military defences dating back to Napoleonic times. We assigned a team of 6 surveyors to the project who worked in close liaison with Kier.
