Providing pre-contract support on Building Schools for the Future (BSF) projects

Education related projects are the good news story for the construction industry and we are delighted to be providing ongoing pre-contract support to contractors involved in Building Schools for the Future (BSF) projects or with local authority Framework agreements.  These include Apollo London, BAM, Leadbitter, Morgan Ashurst and Willmott Dixon.

Since January 2008, the pre-contract team at the GF Partnership has helped their clients meet tender deadlines on over 15 school and education related projects, with a total value of over £100m. Our contribution has involved bill of quantities production for new school buildings, sports centres, science blocks, a library extension, drama studio and classroom refurbishment at primary and secondary schools and college and university campuses in London, the South East and the Midlands.

‘We now have considerable expertise within our team with respect to education projects', said Peter Royal, Divisional Director. ‘As there is generally less new work about, contractors are bidding for more projects than they would have done in the past and in many cases do not have the in-house resource for an increased level of bill production. This is where we come in. With over 15 UK based surveyors at our disposal, we can provide an experienced resource at relatively short notice'.
