GF Partnership takes on a Trainee Surveyor

Aaron Kennett joins our Pre-Contract Division

We are delighted to welcome Aaron Kennett to the GF Partnership as a Trainee Surveyor in our Pre-Contract division. Aaron has recently successfully completed his GCSE examinations gaining 10 in total, and had already decided that he wished to pursue a career as a Quantity Surveyor. Rather than continue with ‘A' level studies and then a university degree, Aaron has selected the vocational option as he believes that work experience combined with study will give him a head start in the profession.

Aaron chose to join the GF Partnership as he was impressed by the range and type of projects the company gets involved in and by our positive attitude towards training. He will be attending a 2 year day release National Certificate in Construction course starting in September at Bedford College. Practical work experience in our Pre-Contract division includes measuring drawings on a digitizer, preparing bills and checking measurements.

‘Now having joined the GF Partnership, I am keen to learn and am looking forward to starting my studies both ‘on the job' and in college', comments Aaron.
